Las Tunas Food Scene

Vegan Tacos at The Green Room.

Vegan Cauliflower Tacos from the Green Room.

It’s hard to adequately describe my love for “all things food” in our little neighborhood. Now, I am vegan — and I am always blown away by how accommodating so many restaurants are of my dietary needs. But don’t fear my meat eating friends, I will not leave you out.

The Las Tunas food scene is steps from Casa Suerte. Within minutes you will be eating your way through some of the best faire around. Here’s a list of our top favorite places (in no particular order) in Las Tunas.

Five Tacos and a Beer

The name speaks for itself — 5 tacos and a beer is what you get. It's a short walk from our house and it's quite affordable. Also one of the few places that stay open later. This place is a “must” when you stay at Casa Suerte.

Beers on tap at Bajavaria

Bajavaria

Craft “Biergarten” in Todos Santos pouring craft Mexican and German beers on tap. It also features a bottle shop to-go and it's walkable from our casa — right next to 5 Tacos and a Beer. Kitchen opening soon!

Landi’s

A must if you crave really terrific, mouth watering Mexican cuisine and is walkable from the house. The owner, Landi, is simply the sweetest! They accommodated for this little vegan with a yummy pizza — but trust me there are many Mexican inspired options.

Poke Loko

This place has something for everyone. The environment is what is really appealing about Poke Loko. It’s also within walking distance of Casa Suerte. From bowls to pizza and fries, this will be sure to satisfy most. They often have live music.

Coffee Shop Las Tunas

Within walking distance of Casa Suerte. This place is cash only and offers a delightful breakfast and coffee menu. Pay at the end. I personally love the avocado toast — yum! AND, you can grab some fresh baked bread for the road.

The Green Room

Pure Baja magic on the beach w/ delicious food, drinks, and sunsets — Make reservations. It's a MUST when you visit — you won't regret it. This one is a short drive in the opposite direction of downtown. Off a bumpy dirt road — when you spot the surfboard sign, you have arrived. Walk through the hedges.

Pacifica Fish Market

This place is known to have some of the best tacos in town. Affordable, super casual and yummy. Not open on the weekends - FYI :)

Bonjour Madame

A little bit of France right in Todos Santos. Fresh bread, pastries - a French deli - and within walking distance to the house. Wonderful little boutique grocery selection.

La Esquina

Awesome local and fresh breakfast/lunch spot with a lovely patio filled with gorgeous plant life.

Palmas Del Pacifico TS

From Tacos to Sushi to Burgers and fancy cocktails, this new restaurant in town is a crowd pleaser. Roof top setting and cool vibes.

There you have it folks, that’s our Las Tunas neighborhood food scene round up. These are our top go-to’s when we are in town. We feel SO fortunate to have all of these amazing establishments so close to Casa Suerte - there is no shortage of good food to be had. Buen Provecho.
